Silvia Colombo holds a degree in Languages and Cultures from the University of Milan. She lived for many years in English-speaking countries, where she gained international experience in education and communication, working as a language lecturer and teacher at university and school levels, as well as a professional English-to-Italian translator. Since 2021, she has been operating under the business name CS Languages di Colombo Silvia as a freelancer in the field of language teaching.

Silvia is interested in language and science education in early childhood and primary schools. She holds teaching positions at the Department of Human Sciences for Education at the University of Milano-Bicocca and collaborates with the Bicocca Laboratory for STEM Education at the Department of Physics. With Scienza Express, she published the book “Facciamo che eravamo astrofisici” (“Let’s Pretend We Were Astrophysicists”), a book for experimenting, observing, and discovering the universe.
